Customer Showcase: Sussex Area Chamber 

 

 

The Challenge

Visibility

 

  • Outdated website and content
  • Not effectively showcasing member businesses and adding to their visibility

 

Credibility 

  • Outdated logo and image made Chamber seem less professional and active
  • Members didn’t rely on website to get new information

 

Lead Generation

  • Lack of ways to generate new members and showcase valuable benefits of becoming a member
  • Hard to post events and get new events from members and non-members
  • Chamber guide and map was an ineffective and outdated way to earn additional revenue and provide added value to the community

 

 

The Solution

The Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce felt the urgency to design a new website. It was time to streamline website changes and make it easier to communicate the exciting news that is happening in Sussex. With the updated website changes, the Chamber also new they could offer more to their members. Additional membership perks would now be provided due to additional features and functionality included in the new website. The goal is to get more member and nonmember use of the website so we can build a greater network and stronger community.

Website features include:

  • Updated content management system
  • Scrolling home page news feed
  • Membership directory
  • Premium member map with complete business descriptions
  • Member focus area
  • Auto feed of events and posts to social media
  • An easy way for the community and other business members to post their event to the site
